Terms of Service

Last updated: July 4, 2026

These terms govern your use of Almenry, a service operated by Kevin Stacey, based in Quebec, Canada ("Almenry", "we", "us"). By joining the waitlist, creating an account, or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What Almenry is

Almenry is a tool that lets you record and organize information about the things you own, including warranties, receipts, maintenance, and estimated values. Almenry is a record-keeping aid. It is not insurance, not legal or financial advice, and not a substitute for keeping your own copies of important documents.

2. Your account

3. Your content

The information, photos, and documents you add to Almenry remain yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, process, and display that content back to you so the service can function. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not sell it.

You are responsible for the content you upload. Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to store.

4. Accuracy and reliance

Almenry helps you keep records, but you are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, and for verifying anything important. Warranty dates, values, and reminders shown in the app are based on the information you provide and are for your convenience only. Do not rely on Almenry as your sole source of truth for insurance, warranty claims, or legal matters. Always keep your own copies of critical documents.

5. Service availability

Almenry is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. During beta especially, features may change, and the service may be interrupted or contain errors. We work to keep your data safe and the service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Almenry and Kevin Stacey are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, including any loss of data or any reliance on information stored in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable Quebec consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Almenry after a change means you accept the updated terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of Quebec.
